does Windows 7 have mail prog

because i have looked every where and i cant find it

Nope. They got rid of it. You can install the mail program of your choice, or you can try the Live Mail Beta (Downloads - Windows Live).

Thats odd. On my installation I had Windows Mail by default??

Sorry, but Windows Mail is not included, at least not in my 32 bit or 64 bit copy of Windows 7. MS is going to be using Windows Live programs la carte instead.

Windows Live Mail is a good choice though.
