Keyboard command to make window smaller?

For some reason occasionally windows in IE are going off the top of the screen so I can't see the close cross. Does anyone know of a keyboard command to recover the window or make the window smaller please?

    This might help.
When in I.E. go to the View and select a smaller Zoom.

If it was a Windows 7 screen resolution problem it should effect all programs.

The Win Logo & arrow keys should work or if you just want to close the program right click on its icon on the task bar & select close.

Thank you for your replies. This problem only occurs occasionally in IE but a smaller zoom does not appear to help. However the Win logo and arrow keys solves the problem so many thanks.

I'm glad stve method helped with your problem.
    This may also be helpful.
Made I.E. the size you want and then close and open it a couple of times and Windows should remember that size.
