    Google Chrome and SimplePass

I hope this is the correct forum...

I have an HP Pavilion dv7 with the fingerprint scanner called SimplePass. It works perfectly logging into windows and works with IE. I read a couple places it could work with Google Chrome but I never could get it to work. I read there is a SimplePass extension for Chrome but I couldn't find it.
My computer is fully updated via Windows update. I have Window 7 64-bit. If someone could please help me figure this out that would be awesome.

    Thank you,
    Summer

Ya that didn't work for me, I have the updated SimlpePass from the HP website but my version is saying 5.20.233a, in that forum post is says the most updated one is 6.0

Is my computer model to old to get this update or something? Is there any other work-around? What about the Chrome Extension.

I downloaded that other SimplePass software but all it did was install another version so I have both versions running on my computer at the exact same time. The newer version wont even work because it is saying my windows logon passwords don't match when they clearly do.

Well I'm just going to keep it the way it is...this is starting to become to much to deal with just to swipe my finger to logon lol.

Thanks anyways for trying to help.

    Incomplete installation of Google Chrome

I downloaded Google Chrome I then clicked on the downloaded file and it started to install. No further evidence that it had installed. Icon was on desktop but clicking on it had no effect. Looked at properties of icon and found that the application was in Program Files.....etc; and tried to start it. Had no effect. I noticed that the file size was only 840 kb. Seems a bit small to me.
I tried this several months ago with the same results. I was able to install Canary, alledgely a Chrome beta. Tried to contact Google about this. Was not successful. Any advice?

Hi Bill .. Which Version are you trying to Download ? If you are trying to get SimplePass to work with Chrome .. You need an older Version ..
