Internet browser wont open web pages

I have Windows 7 Home. None of my internet browsers (firefox,IE,chrome) will open any web pages. Was working fine the day before and now nothing. When you type in an address or search on the google tab it just thinks for a a while then the address bar goes blank and nothing happens. Internet is connected and working fine by cable. Other computers on same network are working regular. Please help... did alot of searching on forums and nothing i have tried yet has worked.
    Thank you.

    Hi and welcome to SevenForums,

Might help if you listed what you've done already so we won't duplicate suggestions
    Cheers.

Tried the restart and it's goes to the 'shutting down' screen and stays there. Been probably 10 min and won't shut off for some reason

    Hi thanks for the update,
    Post some screen shots,
Click the Start button and type in the search box,
    msconfig
Click on the suggestion or the enter key,
Startup section take as many as you need for a complete list,
Also go to the Services section,
On the bottom left Check the box to Hide Microsoft services and take more screen shots of that list,
    Cheers.
