outlook 2010 long standing junk email filter bug

Ok I remember testing outlook 2010 4-5 years ago, I had to revert to outlook 2007 for one single reason.

When The junk email filter is disabled (so only block via blocked senders) it was still automatically filtering emails and the outlook filter list is very bad tons of false positives.

After reinstalling windows I decided to give outlook 2010 another shot, as after 4-5 years have passed and 2 service packs this bug must be gone right?

    Seems not.

I have attached an image showing auto filtering is off, the sender is defenitly not in the blocked senders list which I imported from outlook 2007 (which this problem doesn't occur). There is no TLD's or encoding's blocked.

So I have put a red square around the reasoning for the junk email folder which is it says its been put there by the junk email filter (which should be impossible as its disabled, and I have put in the option box showing that. I have blanked out personal details.

Any ideas, is it a bug or is some extra setting causing this?

    a confirmation problem exists here.

Messages Still Going To Junk With Junk Filters Turned Off?!

I have used that registry as a workaround for now. As I cant have important emails going to junk, but this removes the ability to use a manual block list.

Found the solution here, surprised isn't many hits on the subject but it was hard to believe it was a bug.

Outlook 2010 Disable Junk Filter - Super User

Basically outlook 2010 stores the settings per email account setup, the normal junk option box only is for the primary first email account setup. In the normal interface when using a single pst for all accounts is no way to adjust for the other accounts.

To adjust for other email accounts you have to open a email delivered to that account (it does not have to be junk email) then the junk button in the toolbar you can select the options from there and it will be the configuration for that email account.

This obviously means when adjusting things like blocked senders, it has to now be done multiple times, once for each account is no global setting. So more fine tuning possible but a bad UI interface to manage it causing hassle and confusion.

I am considering making a separate PST for each email account now but this I think will have things like duplicate inboxes and so on in the interface which will be a pain to massive.
