Windows 7: Hotmail Watcher 2.13 not working since FF 28

Well I am using the same version of email, looks exactly like mine. I don't know exactly what to do now. I have WLM on my computer, but I am not using it, or even have it set up. I DL V2.13 4 or 5 times. Made sure outlook.com was my default..
Any ideas. The icon is there on the top right, but it is grayed out and when I put my mouse over it, it says hotmail not connected. Sounds like a add on problem, so I tried an older version, same thing. Any ideas.

You do have to set it in options to check your mail on a timed setting like every 5 minutes and to play a media file if you want. Mine works with Firefox, Waterfox and Pale Moon. Mine is not greyed out. Send the developer an email about it.

Gary, Sonthakit Leelahanon replied to my email. He sent me instruction to look at what the app is doing and send it to him. He thinks the problem is with my outlook.com.

Thank you so much for all of the help you provided. I'll post back to let you know what he found in case you or anyone else runs into this problem

Gary

^Just got an email from Sonthakit including a reworked version of the 2.13 hotmailwatcher add on. Sonthakit said the other one had a problem in a sub folder.

It's working great now..

Thanks again, Gary

The Hotmail message "We can't connect to Hotmail right now. Please make sure that you're connected to the internet and try again." seems to appear all the time. Is this caused by poor internet speed, because I've got that, or is it something with google chrome, the browser I'm using? When...
