missing light blue ribbon on top of task bar

I did post something almost like this one but I am missing the light blue ribbon that sits on top of the task bar at the bottom of my email program. It tells me when there is mail, that I am sending out mail, that I have no mail when I hit send/receive and on the left side of it it tells me how many email I have in certain folders. It is seen on my husbands web site on this same computer but not on mine. I did have it afew days ago but do not remember hitting anything that would make it go away. Is there a way I can get it back. please??

Hi welcome to SevenForums,
As far as I can tell your referring to a messenger of some type,
The taskbar doesn't come with any messengers,
Any messenger would install a notification icon in the Action center on the bottom right next to the time and date,
Notification Area Icons - Hide or Show System Icons and Notifications
Notification Area Icons - Reset
These notifications would come from a third party toolbar add-on,
Which do you use, Yahoo/ Gmail......
Internet Explorer - Enable or Disable Toolbars and Extensions Add-ons
If you don't see anything that helps,
Please post screen shots of what your missing,
See the link above my signature for how,
Cheers.

Alfa awus036nhr antenna - the blue light
I think the device is either wired wrong or otherwise defective - the blue light seems to have no relation to whether I have a signal, in fact I seem to have the best luck connecting when the light is dark entirely. Can anyone tell me what the light is supposed to be doing? The "options" seem to...

Solid light blue screen instead of desktop
New monitor & video card: Samsung 2433BW Plus & EVGA GTX 470. Sometimes from a cold boot the screen just goes a solid light blue colour with no cursor. I have to turn the machine off either via the PSU or holding the power button for about 4 seconds. Any ideas? Thanks :)
