Cannot Save Web page (IE10) only this Win 7 machine

On only this Win 7 Ultimate, 64bit machine I cannot save a webpage in any of the three options - webpage complete, Web Archive (Mht), or Web page HTML only. The saves work fine when saving to my C: drive but I save all my personal data on an NAS. When saving to the NAS from this particular machine it shows the progress bar as though it is saving, then flashes up the "This Web Page Could not be saved". The page is there and usually will open but not always and sometimes opening the page takes forever.

I suspect something in the firewall is not set right and I need help on what to look for. When I go into the firewall for the private network I see pages and pages of rules. What rule should I look for specifically to allow web pages to be saved to my private networked NAS? Would it be an incoming or outgoing rule or would both be affected?

My wife has another Win 7 (home premium) which saves web pages to the NAS ok, and I have a Win 8.1 netbook that has no problems saving web pages using IE10.

Any ideas?

I downloaded MS IE reset application and ran it, same result. Any save to the Intranet NAS gives me the "Unable to save web page" red error message. However the web page IS saved. It works fine when I save it to user\my docs in the c: drive - which I choose not to do since I want access to any of these files from any location on the network.

Only this PC works this way - On Win 8.1, XP, and Win 7 Home Premium all is fine. I am convinced it is a setting in the firewall of which the rules span pages and pages - I do not know how to find it.

Have you tried comparing the firewall settings with this pc?

have compared all Inbound rules

I found some differences in the 256 Inbound firewall rules but mostly they were in the domain settings areas and while I can not explain that we are in a private only setting arena. My wifes is a lap top so I guess windows made certain assumtions regarding some of these settings, but nothing pops out at me. She has some applications that I do not have and vice versa.

I tried another experiment and tried to save a web page an noted the exact time. Then I reviewed all the events in the event viewer and the only thing that comes up at the moment (or even close by 1/2 hour) was this security failure

Code Integrity determined that the page hashes of an image file are not valid. The file could be improperly signed without page hashes or corrupt due to unauthorized modification. The invalid hashes could indicate a potential disk device error.
File Name: \Device\HarddiskVolume2\Windows\System32\sxs.dll

Do you know what this is referring to? The NAS that I am trying to save to is Volume_1 (\\DLINK-C8F137), not Volume_2 (which is another drive in the NAS). I tired it again about 10 min later and sure enough the same message appears

So I then tried to saving a web page to Volume2 in the NAS and although I got the same error message when saving, I did not get another security audit failure in the event viewer???? I am lost.

It will take some time to gather up the outbound rules from the two machine (I imagine on the order of 256 also) and lay them side by side for a comparison. I wish I had an idea what application or "name" I should be scanning for differences.

I think I am only interested in the Private network rules since I am not in a domain environment and while mine is a desktop hers is a laptop but never leaves the house so public is not a concern for either machine (I think, perhaps my understanding of these three firewall profiles is a little muddled)
