WLM Storage Folder emails won't open

just installed a new os on one of the computers. Windows 7 pro. and did an entire fresh install. Never had luck with email export and import - never ever worked - so i just copy over the email file to a second drive and copy it back and go into WLM maintenance and change the storage folder to that email folder.

I installed a fresh windows essentials with just WLM.

In all the storage folders when trying to open each and every email it gives this message:

"A problem has occurred while trying to open this message.

A problem has occurred. Please try again."

I DID run a Repair from uninstall in the control panel for Windows Essentials but it had no effect.

    advice?

(have NEVER been able to import windows mails to thunderbird so i am stuck with WLM there was a paid program that alleges to do that but i am not spending $30 on something like that and dont know if it will work. I cant even EXPORT/IMPORT my emails in windows. other than Office 365 i dont know how to get Outlook to use for email so if there is any advice on that as well, it would be appreciated)

WLM is very buggy will use a separate thread for other stuff. Have had random emails in other installs that won't open but every one in all my storage folders on this install won't open and gives this message

Have you tried with this new install, importing your mail through import-export, has always worked fine for me and many others. As for your problem, sorry but I don't know how to help, maybe a fresh install of WLM If you would prefer using thunderbird have you seen this? Seems like it works for a few people. https://freeshell.de//~kaosmos/mboximport-en.html
