Can't stop junk mail filtering, which ignores "Not junk" tagging

In Windows Live Mail, Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3522.0110): I've turned my "junk email protection" off: "No Automatic Filtering." Moreover, I've unchecked both Phishing Protection options, so that protection is off as well. Yet incoming messages regularly appear in my Junk folder, with no warning to me. These are mostly from senders whose mail I have *not* flagged as junk. (In fact many of these messages are of vital interest to me.) I’ve also noticed that a junk-folder message I’ve tagged as “Not junk” will typically be followed by similar messages from the same sender, again diverted as junk.

Why does this happen and how can I stop it?

UPDATE: I've seen now that the "Not junk" button has options for me to add the sender or the sender's domain to safe senders. (For some reason I must also click the main "Not junk" option for the message to be re-diverted to my inbox.) I hope and trust this will work. However, my primary question remains: Why are important messages diverted as junk when I've disabled junk filtering, as described above?

Do you have the settings checked here? Even though you disabled the junk automatic filtering, windows live mail may be seeing some email as phishing attacks. Uncheck both and see what happens.

I don't suggest what you are doing as it severely limits the security of your email account. But it is up to you. I am confused though as you stated you added the emails to the trusted domain, so you really should not have any more issues.

    Thanks, but...

If you reread my inquiry you'll see that the phishing protection was already unchecked.

Maybe it is being blocked by your actual email provider and marked as spam. Have you went to the actual email provider website and add the emails to the trusted lists there?

Your provider could be then instructing windows live mail to put it in the junk.

Thanks again, but that is not a possibility. (By "actual email provider" I presume you mean my ISP.) Anything blocked by my ISP will not reach the client. In fact the blocking and filtering by my ISP is why I have disabled all filtering at WLM (except that of course that disabling is ignored by WLM).

No I did not mean Internet service provider. I mean the provider of your email. Is it gmail, aol, yahoo, etc? You may need to login to your email website and configure something there.
