    Hello techtitan,

Does setting Firefox as the default program with all of it's associations in Default Programs work for you?

    Hope this helps, :)

    if you are on WinXP:

Click start, then click "Set program Access and defaults".

Click custom, Click the arrow on the left of custom. The first thing you will see is "Choose a default Web browser". Click Firefox and that is it.

If you are on Windows 7, Try @Brink's Instructions again. if that does not work, your windows os might be malfunctioning.

    techtitan,

You might consider using the latest non-beta version of Firefox to see how it works for you. The beta may just not be ready for your system yet.
