IE not prompting to save passwords on certain sites

Hello,

my internet explorers save pass and user feature isn't prompting for every site,

for eg, yahoo's Question an Answers website.

ive heard theirs a way of resetting the whole feature altogether in Internet Tools,

but

I really don't have to want to reset the WHOLE of my saved data, just for a couple of sites that aren't responding.

Is their a way around this ?

Many thanks,

Stuart

Click Type in the search box "internet options". Click the top result-internet options.

Click the content tab.

Under auto complete, click settings.

Choose your settings the way you would like it.

Yes......That is the dialog box for managing user names and passwords on websites.

As for your problem of some websites not offering to be saved, this is most likely due to the website not informing the browser this can be done. Banks sometimes do this for security reasons. It has to do with the webpage itself, and not the browser.

Hi,
Do you ever shut your machine down,
Which security suite do you have installed ?
You can also click on Clear ssl state/ Apply and Okay,
I would verify all of the settings,
Mine are obviously unchecked but the default I guess is all would be checked,
Unfortunately restore defaults is not an option in this area,
Yahoo has had issue with expired security certificates in their email inboxes = applies to the adds they show,

Secure sites Don't Recognize Passwords
