    paswords & user names


    HI,I was woundering if it is possible to transfer all of my UN & PW'S by way of a USB thumb drive instead of a DISK,i have just started using WIN 7 and have a lot of them in FIREFOX while a was sitting here typing i had a thought that may be i might be able to cop & paste them or do like i did with my bookmarks.

    Hi ILDPCS,

    click Help in the menu > select 'Troubleshooting Information'. Look for 'Profile Folder' then click 'Show Folder'.
    Now close FF. Right click and hold mouse key on file key3.db then drag to desktop, release mouse key and select 'Copy Here' do the same with file signons.sqlite.
    Use these files to replace the ones on your new pc.

    You must do your 'Bookmarks' first.
