    Cannot open browser

My wife's laptop will not open IE11. When the IE icon is clicked the browser tries the open the webpage shows up in the address bar and then and a page opens that say "webpage cannot be found" with an HTTP404 error code.

That is strange enough to me, as I have never had that happen before, but I have two desktops in my study that started doing the same thing at the same time. On one of the desktops I was viewing a page, clicked the wrong button and closed IE. When I tried to reopen IE this happened. On the other desktop I was streaming a movie on NetFlix and I closed NetFlix and tried to open IE and the same thing. Now, to me anyway, it gets stranger. I also have an Acer tablet in my study and it will open IE and load my homepage.

I have tried system, didn't work. And, my wife has Google Chrome on her laptop and it will open and load the homepage.

My homepage is Yahoo. The computers will, if I set Internet Options, to the MSN home page load it. I can also stream NetFlix and ESPN by clicking on their icons. But I can't load Yahoo with IE.

Anyone know what is going on. Thanks.

Let's see if we have this right. All at once, 3 computers all cannot open the Yahoo homepage only on IE11? The tablet I assume does not have IE11? Correct me if I am wrong.

How are all these computers connecting to the internet? All wirelessly?

    Hi,
Can you go to https://www.yahoo.com/ at all ?
Have you cleared the cache in the effected machines ?
    Do this with ie closed,
Click the Start button and type in the search box,
internet options or delete browser history/ enter key,
    General section/ Delete button,
Uncheck the Top box and the next four should be checked/ click on Delete.
