    Window is busy?

Recently I have been getting the odd message below. Sometimes it happens if I click a link on a page and other times it pops up with only one tab open without clicking anything. If I close a tab with the "X" it doesn't happen.

Due to the language of it, "..might cause some problems." I'm wondering if it's some sort of infection or exploit. I've done full scans with MBAM Pro, Norton, and ESET online scanner with nothing found.

I'm using IE11, but also use Pale Moon and Opera where it doesn't happen.

Hi Gary, have you tried disabling all/any IE add-ons?... Just a thought.

    Regards,

Hi Jamie. I had thought of that and have not tried it, the reason is that my add-ons haven't changed in several months.

it's worth a try still, in those months im guessing there have been Windows updates that affect IE in some way or something with one of the add-ons may have screwed up.

I suspect add-ons have nothing to do with it but i wouldn't rule it out until i have tried it.

Good thought on WU, there have been a few for IE11. I'll give it a shot removing some updates one at a time. Bad thing is I can't produce the error on demand and it's not specific to any website and can popup at any time, even when not closing a tab or window.

I have reverted to IE10 now and so far (knocks head) it seems to be okay.

In IE11 I had another problem where clicking on one of my Favorites the browser hung, "Waiting for yada yada.com". Opening a new tab worked fine, but then trying to close the frozen tab I got the error, Window is busy.

We have had loads of issues at work with people calling up about IE 11, sometimes we can fix things like compatibility and trusted sites etc but we do revert back to IE10 quite a lot.

My experience with IE11 hasn't been great and it wouldn't suprise me if IE11 has caused more people to move to Chrome or Firefox.
