Poor Lost Outlook Express

Does Windows 7 have an email program that is the equivalent of the old Outlook Express (which I truly liked far more than what I'm trying to use now)? I know they have Outlook but that is not only a business program but it costs.

Thank you.

Microsoft has replaced Outlook Express with Windows Live Mail. Visit the following links for more details;

You can, also, use Outlook.com. See the following links;

Oh, thank you. I shall investigate Windows Live Mail. I was looking at Outlook.com this morning. It sounded as though it is attached to Outlook which is, of course, a business program.

On my way to Live Mail. Appreciate your reply.

Outlook.com is mostly a renamed Hotmail.com with an updated interface. MS Outlook, which is part of MS Office, is an entirely different product. Outlook.com is web-based and accessed via a browser, Outlook is a Windows client and doesn't require a browser.

That is pretty much what I saw where I looked. It did say that it can be attached/connected to/used with Outlook.

Life used to be so simple.
