    What does this mean????

When I press the diagnose IE connection problem button it returns the following problem "the remote device or resource won't accept the connection" is this refering to the wireless router?

One possible solution could be unistalling Norton 2009. I was getting the same problem after upgrading to Windows 7 from Vista. I was recieving a notice that Symentec Heuristics was being blocked due to incapatability issues. After running the Norton removal tool and restarting my PC I was able to connect to the internet with no problem.

One resource that is overlooked is the Action Center.Right click and then go to troubleshoot. Does not work all the time, but lets use all the resources that are available,

try resetting the Internet Explorer (IE) settings to default:

    1. pull up IE
    2. click on Tools button
    3. click on Internet Options
    4. Internet Options window will pull up
    5. click on the Advanced tab
    6. click on Reset button
    7. click on Reset again on pop-up
    8. IE will be reset to default settings, then click on Close on pop-up
    9. close IE then pull up new IE window

    this should work!
