    any risk with my email account?


    a few days ago i received an email sent from an account which is my Yahoo! email not used for a long long time. The content was obviously not sent by me or typed by me and I never encountered it. When I tried to login that account. I think the password was still there and not changed. But I couldn't pass through the security questions. I think I've forgotten the answers. Actually that account is not important, no problem, but how come someone could send me email through that account without changing my password? I think I never tell anyone about that address too

    Sounds like your Yahoo email account was hacked, they may have already changed your password. If you can get into it with the security questions you should change the password to a new more difficult secure password.

i am running windows 7 with windows live mail i have just set up i have a new email address but i have set up i think my partners e mail account from sky but it isnt picking up her sky emails i would appreciate any help on this matter as i am new to using windows 7 with windows live mail thanks...
