    IE11 corrupted during Java updates, uninstall issues...?

    Win7 Pro 64-bit laptop-
    Latest Java installed OK on IE11 from Control Panel GUI.

    When I went to install non-ie 32-bit Java download from Filehippo (IE still Default browser), a Windows pop-up said IE needs to Reconfigure/Restart Now!?
    Java had disappeared from IE, wasn't in FF either (showed in Uninstall Programs), but wouldn't reinstall/Reboot.
    I uninstalled Java/reboot, and installed full 64-bit for IE- Showed in Add-ons as New, and I activated both.
    2 reopens, and when I ran the Java Version check, it said Java was not installed?

    Made FF Default, and Java installed OK/reboot.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I figured IE11 was corrupted, and I needed to uninstall/reinstall it-
    When I went to Win updt hist., there was No IE11, but there was my old IE10?
    Maybe I had upgraded to IE11, without first uninstalling IE10 (years ago)?
    IE11 never was dependable, and would sometimes Stop Working (I used FF 99%).
    Question?- How do I go about uninstalling IE11..., or any other suggestions?
    Hi,
    I'm confused here,
    What are you downloading from Filehippo ?
    ie10 has been discontinued I'm afraid and ie11 is all that's left,
    If you have an issue with that use another browser
    You can attempt a repair install,
    Your welcome and thanks for the update,
    If you want Java in the future get it from Oracle's site using the browser you want it installed on
    Use the Do I have Java link,
    http://www.java.com/en/
    Cheers.
