I went back and checked, and Windows did updates the night before the day that I updated Firefox. One of those updates was for Nvidia 3D Vision, which means that I was wrong, you were correct, Maxie. It was coincidence that it happened at the same time that the FF update got pushed out.

The NVidia 3D Vision driver may or may not have been installed all along, as it's been included in their driver installer for a long time. Additionally, it looks like Firefox is the only browser supporting NVidia's plugin for YouTube content. Since both Firefox and 3D Vision driver must be installed the issue of which one was updated most-recently is moot methinks.
