    Videos will not play

Many of the videos posted by friends on Facebook will not play in IE11 running on W7 fresh install. It also happens, though somewhat less in Firefox. When the page opens all I get is the text and a photo. Right clicking on the photo gives a message to the effect of "Permalink to photo". It's getting rather annoying. I read somewhere it was Msft's way of solving some kind of vulnerability. Is there a workaround? Some advanced setting that will once again allow videos to play? I dl'd some JW Player or something that was suggested, it doesn't work.

Hi sorry for the delayed response,
Use Gear symbol on the top right and Manage add-ons,
Toolbars and Extensions on the top left column,
On is Adobe shockwave element enabled or is it even listed ?
On the bottom of the left column Show switch it to show all add-ons,
    Cheers.

OOOOOps, just Shockwave Flash Object, it is enabled. I have installed Flash Player though as well as Java, all the latest versions on a nice clean install of W7.

Hi sorry for the delay response,
I would start by uninstalling java if you don't need it or at the very least disable it when not using it meaning wait for a game to tell you it's needed and then enable it,
    Cheers.
