    Hi,
This link pretty much says what the file type is,
MHTML - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Probably the same as doing File/ Send/ Page by page and Link by email
I'm not sure where the site (Webshots) comes into play here ?
I have a feeling you have an account there and that is actually where the video was saved too and not your machine because the file size was only 944 kb and nothing but a screen shot and a hyperlink to Webshots ?

So there's no video to recover unless it's been moved at Webshots ?
Opening the file in flash player does no good it's the first thing I tried

Hi: I think I am free of Spyware as I run - Norton 360- ccleaner- malwarebytes -JRT and AdwCleaner.

Thanks for your help with Adobe Flash Player. Can you help me get Adobe Flash Player so it is shown/available in my Default Programs? It is in my Control Panel/ Programs & Features. But I cannot change a program/file to "OPEN WITH" Adobe Flash Player.

You were right about me being a Member of Webshots! But I am not now as they have changed it so much.

    Thanks,

Possibly that's why the file does not work anymore ?
These video downloaders seem to download to their site and you access the files there and they give you a special hyperlink file to view the files which now does not work,

How many others do not work that have the same file type extension as this one ?

My post #9 on page 1 shows you the location of flash player where you have to browse to find after you use open with,
    Cheers.

Have you tried using the Adobe Flash Player uninstaller, and then re-installing ?

    Adobe Flash Player

Hi: When you told me how to get Adobe Flash Player to appear in my Default Programs:
    Hi,
    C/ Windows/ System32/ Macromed/ Flash,
The file should be the only one with a flash player symbol FlashUtil64_15_0_0_167_ActiveX this seems to be the .exe file
Like I said before on the first screen it should show a box to Uncheck on the bottom left I believe so if it's not the correct or does not work all file type won't be effected by the file type switch until confirmed it works

This shows as "Adobe Flash Player Installer/Uninstaller 15.0r0" . Is this okay to say Installer/Uninstaller?
I was expecting to see JUST INSTALLER.

    Thanks,

Hi you made it back :)
Yea that's the only file that shows up on the list of choices to use when using browse for a program otherwise it should open in a browser and the site it opens to Webshots should play the content ?

Do you have FireFox installed ?

See if any of these videos suffice as a replacement for Webshots.

The Link in the MHTML file seemed to go to the daily webshot - pumpkins today!

Hi ThrashZone: In reply to your message: "Hi you made it back :)

Yes I do have Firefox, Safari, Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox as well as Internet Explorer. I was just concerned about the "UNINSTALLER" appearing when I was able to add Adobe Flash Player to my Default Programs.

    Thanks, Ardath Morrison

SORRY BUT I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO REPLY TO BOTH OF YOU AS I ONLY SEE ONE PLACE TO REPLY TO ALL THESE MESSAGES. So I have put bothreplies in the same note here. How should I have done this?
