When I left mouse click on a link, it opens the page in the current Tab.
When I click the scroll wheel on a link, it opens the page in a new Tab.
It works this way for me with Firefox, IE, and Chrome, without any extensions/add-ons.

It looks like Chrome doesn't have a built-in setting to switch to the new Tab automatically.
I found the Tabs to the front! extension adds that feature.
I installed it and it works for me.

New to chrome, came here to find a way to view new tab when I open it "automatically" seen "Can you rephrase your question!!!!" by PCTECHIE and would have to ask why would you even comment if you don't understand ENGLISH!!!!, thankfully DavidW7ncus was "understanding" the question and I used his answer to solve the problem, sorry I just get tired of ppl replying with stupid questions its like they don't have an answer but they have to reply with something, Techie" LOL
