    Two Different Firefox Download Windows

I am using Version 32.0.3. Reference the attached image. The window on the left I can activate via the down arrow on the browser's toolbar. The window on the right appears when I clik on a temporary 'download complete' message display that appears near the sys tray once a download finishes. I would like to know how to manually activate the window on the right (without having to download anything).

    -thx

Look at Bookmarks, Show All Bookmarks, the Downloads item is on the left list, all part of Firefox's Library, don't see how it can be changed. I'm downloading a file now and no icon in the Notification Area so it must appear only when the download is completed, will know more 142MB from now.

Thx for your reply. However, I did not request help for making any 'changes'.

I took that as meaning you wanted to use what the right image shows and to me that meant making a change to the default view.

I do not believe making any 'changes' is necessary since the attachment clearly shows both windows co-existing.

So, now that that's out of the way ...

The left folder is the FF download window, which can be cleared without deleting anything. The right folder is just the Windows download folder found at

    C:\users\<your name>\Downloads

I went to the "add-ons" menu and there is a 'Mega' feature installed (with a notification pop-up enabled box). However, there is nothing informing me that cliking on the pop-up will cause the downloads window to appear. I suppose I just stumbled across that as a habit due to that's what I do on the temporary 'Windows Updates are available' notification-area pop-up that appears every now and then.

So, back to the OP. Any ideas on how to manually display/activate that d/l window without having to download?
    -thx

I do not think it is the same independent window as shown in the OP. It seems to be just another tab in the Ff session.
