No Adobe Plugin installed in IE

    W7 64 bit Ultimate
I have Adobe Reader installed and running fine on my PC (Adobe Reader XI - latest)

It also works fine within Firefox .. plugin installed, enabled & working

However due to a specific requirement I have to use IE (v 11 latest)
This currently will not work with on-line adobe forms ... when I look under add-ons .... only Adobe Shock wave shows, there is no Adobe reader plug-in.

I have re-run Adobe Reader install ... it comes back with message 'application alreday installed'
How can I install the IE browser plug-in.

Within Manager Add-ons I click on 'find plugins & toolbars' but it has nothing for Adobe or reader (pretty useless)

Anybody know how I can install it .... Adobe web pages just say enable it, but can't as it does not show.

    Hi,
If your on the Manage add-ons page,
    Toolbars and extensions
On the bottom left column under Show make sure your set on show all add-ons,
Reader should appear bit if not take a screen shot of everything that is appearing,
See the links above my signature on how to take and upload screen shots here if you need help with the task,
    Cheers.

I checked my add-ons to see if I could help out here, and found I only have Flash from Adobe. No Reader add-on. Still I can open a pdf inside the browser. I checked with Process Explorer how that works and can see that Adobe Reader starts as a child process to iexplore. So no add-on used.

I thought I would have an add-on for Reader but I didn't. Don't know if this is common or not.

I did look under 'all add-ons'
Nothing shows for Adobe other than Flash.

I'd count this as a bug Microsoft and Adobe need to work out,
That I know of I was under the impression ie11 has a reader built in,
I have not done anything with ie11 unless it was in win-8.1 or win-10 so I can't say anything about how ie11 and win-7 operates :/
ie10 is more stable anyway from my prior testing,
    Cheers.
