I love the idea of Chrome but I cannot get over the fact that FireFox always loads pages quicker and has AdBlockPlus.
I would keep Chrome on my system if it had AdBlockPlus or an equivalent feature.

Hey thanks for that! It could prove very useful if I should ever have to stray away from FireFox.
Just hope I don't encounter any of the issues those other people had in the comments section.
Dunno about anyone else, but I can't stand the bookmarks 'sidebar' - if you can really even call it that, because it's a pretty poor job and makes Chrome pale beside other browsers. I have over 2,500 bookmarks, and accessing and managing them in Chrome would be an absolute nightmare.
I run 4.0.223.11. I like new and fast things, and I've tried very hard but I just can't really like nor love Chrome!
I even have reservations about its speed. Once it is actually rendering a page it is fast but I find I get a lot of blank pages which then load, and a lot of "refreshes" after a preliminary load (a la Netscape from way way back when). On my own tests, loading 10 pages (that I use commonly), all at once in both Firefox and Chrome - there is no discernable difference in full load time (about a second),
During and at the end of the load Chrome is more labor intensive and uses more memory to hold the pages.
This is despite the fact that I have heaps of add-ons in Firefox. I have a few in Chrome too - notably Adblock+. I left them all in place for my tests coz that's how I actually use the browser.
I dislike the tab defaults in Chrome (Firefox too but TabMixPlus fixes that)(especially open new tab next to current - which is essential for me), and I just can't take to the tabs at the very top. Bookmark usage in chrome is pretty primitive and having to open the bookmark manager just to open 3 or 4 tabs is mad.
So you get my drift - some of it is probably just about what I'm used to, but with my speed reservations, why switch.
(oh - and some of you will laugh but I find the search/address bar pretty limited - the lack of a Google Toolbar in a Google branded app is, for me a killer. I love the simplicity of choosing which search I'm doing, seeing my gmail info and gcal info up front in Google Toolbar etc)
I'm currently responding in Opera, usually use Firefox, and also test out Chrome for "speed claims".
A Google Toolbar is absolutely unnecessary given that you can search directly from the "search/address" bar. Don't like using Google as the default search engine? Go ahead and change the default search engine in the options.
thanks for the info! when opening sevenforums only my ram was at 60,000K now its at only 18,000K
chrome the best!
