    IE 8

I ran across some links on the net that led me to believe IE 8 can not be used with Win 7. Is there an issue with IE 8? Thanks,

No. IE8 comes from the built up to Win 7; in fact Win 7 is shipped with IE8 except in the EU where Microsoft has been banned from including it in a Retail Box. Microsoft had to put in a choice screen showing all the available web browser, so as to give those living in the EU a chance to choose a browser. A browser that would be more pleasing to an EU Win 7 user. :)

Also, if you do not want to have IE8 as your main browser you can disable it from "Programs and Features." Win 7 gives you the choice to use whatever you want as a browser.

Whoever said it doesn't come with IE8, and/or doesn't allow you to use it, needs to lay off the drugs.

Its had IE8 since its public beta I believe.

Well, I guess I dreamed that because I can not find it now. I probably read what was quoted above and got it backwards in my mind. Sorry
