YouTube wont load on any browser - Im baffled!

A few weeks ago my laptop stopped playing videos from youtube.
The youtube web page doesnt not load at all and any web page that has an embedded video linked to youtube also does not play. This is for all three browsers: firefox, chrome and IE. I have not installed any program immediately prior noticing this error.

Things I have done to troubleshoot:
    - Several restore ops.
    - uninstalled chrome and firefox, deleted user prefs, reinstalled.
    - installed malware and virus checking programs and done complete scan
    - tried firefox restart in safe mode.
    - booted computer in safe mode
-uninstalled Flashplayer, shockwave and Java and removed registry entries and reinstalled
    - cleared cache and cookies
    - disabled all add-ins
-tried other computers on my wifi - they had no issues
-tried my laptop on various wifi connections. Still no success.
    - ensured Proxy settings was deselected
    - made sure firewall was off and on

On all three, the connection just times out and nothing loads. All other web pages work fine.

    Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
Use the link in my signature to Fill in your system spec's page especially your Antivirus program being used,
Also state which scanners have been used,
Review Jacee’s instructions to run Adwcleaner here post #7,
Ignore the title of the thread,

Screen shot of the download button to use for Adwcleaner
You can use these free tools to see if they find anything,
Manually Update them before running full scans,
Try not to use your computer while the scans are running, (one at a time of course).
See this tutorial on how to download and run Malwarebytes,
    https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/338716-malwarebytes-anti-malware-free.html
Also use the Custom scan option not the Threat scan,

Please Do Not clean/ Delete or Remove Any detections before posting the scan results first before review especially Malwarebytes,

SAS is safe to remove anything it finds

This one is the longest up to 4 hours, the others are only about 45 minutes,

    Success!

After trying all the exhausting stuff, I found a thread in which some had a similar problem. It was the Hosts file that was altered. I used this Fix and problem solved.
How can I reset the Hosts file back to the default?
