    email contacts

I have Windows Live Mail which is working. I have my contacts in a folder in the next partition. I double click on the contact add to my contact list. I go to my contacts and see if they are there they are NOT there, it says "None of your contacts has an email defined" My contacts are under User\My User Name\Contacts so I'm not sure if this is even right.

    Hello Lostsoul,

If these are contacts from Windows Mail or Vista, then you might see if this may help to import them into Windows Live Mail.

    Hope this helps,

In WLM, click on Tools, Options, General tab, and double check to make sure that both Make Default buttons are selected and grayed out.

If they are, then go to Default Programs, and make sure that Windows Live Mail and Windows Contacts are both set as default programs with all of their associations set to it as well.

    Afterwards, try importing them again.
