Google Chrome Right Application of Java (Browser) needed?

Hello i just have update Java with:
    Java 64 Bit version Installed

    I use Google Chrome:
    32 Bit version = chrome://help/

    I cannot Use Java(TM) Plugin:
It doesn't show in Chrome browser settings to enable.

    Question:

Do I needed to have to install 2 versions of Java...
    Note:
I have Installed IE as well but, I don't know if its 32x or 64x

I'm lost here, could you please point me to the right Installed of java version needed on
Windows 7 Home Professional 64 Bit, please!

    Thank you

Yes, for plugins to work they must match the "bitness" of the host program (not only browsers, but for all software generally speaking).

The 64 bit Java can the only be hosted in 64 bits browsers, or used in standalone Java programs. For 32 bits to work, you must install 32 bits Java too. They both can coexist with no problems at all.

    Hi,
Possibly this will clear up your confusion,
    System Type - 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64)
