Mozilla Firefox - bookmarks toolbar rearranges itself!

    Hello all,

Since the latest update to Mozilla Firefox, I've been having an issue with my bookmarks toolbar: the bookmarks and separators keep rearranging themselves at seemingly random times. The way they rearrange themselves, however, seems less random: either the separators move themselves all the way to the left (earlier this week,) or they and the bookmark icons rearrange themselves into a specific pattern that I had never chosen. Even after I "re-rearrange" them back to where I want them manually, they would just do the same after a few hours. I tried everything I could think of, up to and including deleting the localstore.rdf file, but nothing seemed to resolve the issue. The issue happens on all five of our machines, three of which (Dell Latitude E6420, Toshiba Satellite U500, and Toshiba Tecra R940) are running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit, one (IBM ThinkPad T60) running 7 Pro 32-bit, and one (Getac B300) running Vista Business 64-bit. All Firefox browsers on these machines are synced to the same account. What do you think?

    TIA,
    Shady

Not a solution, just a comment: A quick search on mozillaZine indicates that this is known to be caused by sync. I only looked at a few pages turned up by using the search function, so it is possible that a solution may be found somewhere on mozillaZine.

MozillaZine is where I found the "delete the localstore.rdf file" solution. When I said I tried everything, I meant everything including whatever I found there. When that didn't work, I thought I should ask over here. :)
