My Internet Explorer 11 keeps crashing on start-up and...

Just so you know, I have a Dell Inspiron Laptop 1545 with a 64 bit Operating System and i have Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 11.

My firefox is working perfectly fine. But my Internet Explorer 11? All of a sudden (i was on a regular internet page aka Youtube) it just crashes. And now anytime I even try to start Internet Explorer, it continually has multiple upon multiple error/crash messages of "internet explorer has stopped working" and won't quit showing up unless i close the page. I have Norton Antivirus and did a clean sweep with it, I went to my internet options and deleted cookies/temp internet files, and i even went to try clicking on the 'Internet Explorer (with No Add-Ons) but when I do that? It does the same thing. And this just came out of nowhere (but again, my Firefox is working perfectly fine). What is the deal? And I haven't downloaded/had any recent updates. Any help would be much appreciated.

Its apparently a problem with a Noton update. They posted a workround on their site that worked for me:

    From the Norton forums:
Go to Control Panel, Internet Options
On the Advance tab, under group security enable these two Options
"Enable 64 bit processes for enhanced protected mode"
    and
    "Enable enhanced protected mode"

    Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
    enhanced protection mode might work,
If it does it probably means your using Norton toolbar...
    Use Clean boot,
    https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/179159-troubleshoot-application-conflicts-performing-clean-startup.html
Click Start and type in the search box,
    msconfig
Click on the suggestion on top or hit the Enter key,
Go to the Startup section and take some screen shots for a complete list,
Go to the Services section and on the bottom left Check the box to Hide All Microsoft services,
    Repeat the screen shots,
See the links above my signature on how to take and upload screen shots here,
    Cheers.

Norton may have it fixed with an IPS Definition update just a while ago. Looks like a bad update last night. Check History.
