Windows Live Mail

Just upgraded from Vista to Windows 7. I downloaded Windows Live Mail without Messenger and noticed I have a not under all of my e-mail contacts saying "Your request for contact updates is pending". What does that mean and how do I remove it?

Were you using Windows Live Mail before, with Vista?

I was using Windows Mail with Vista. I had to download Windows Live Mail. It originally automatically transferred my contact list but I accidentally deleted it so I'm adding all of them back in manually. I just want to know how to remove that "Your request for contact updates is pending" note that is under each contacts name

I just noticed I have that request for contact update is pending under a few random contacts in my list. I'm not sure what it means, but it hasn't been giving me any issues.

I did a google search and found out it has something to do with MSN Messenger but I never downloaded it so not sure why it's happening to me. I just hope it's not sending messages out to those on my contact list trying to get them to sign up.

It didn't send out any messages for me. One of those contacts was my wife, and I checked with her to see if she got any kind of notification.
