IE from taskbar
Before a Windows 7 reinstall. I was able to click on the IE icon in the taskbar to open a new tab now I have to right click and request a new tab. Anyone got any idea what I've missed?

I'm not sure I understand what you say about right click, on what? If your IE shortcut is pinned to the taskbar as mine is, if you right click it, it only shows Unpin this program from taskbar or Internet Explorer to start a new session. That doesn't start a new tab it opens IE to start again. I just click on a new tab at the end which will goto the default start page.
Hello what blindbill is saying when IE is already opened he right clicks on that and it does give a few different choices one of them being "Open new Tab"...
Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
Should be listed below In-Private browsing :/
Ctrl+T will open a new tab
Ctrl+K will open a duplicate tab
Ctrl+N will open a new window
If you ever forget those press the Alt key to open the Menubar and click on File or use the F key.
Returning to this thread. I discovered that opening a new tab with a left click comes with later updates for Win7. Thanks for responses.
