    Using IE11

I have windows 7 home premium on my Desk top.
Every time I go and use IE11 I have to go the the gear top right and select Internet Options on the Gen tab I always have to select the default tab then click on the apply tab.
Then maybe an hour later I have to do the same procedure again, I have the same issue on my windows 8.1 Acer laptop.
Is there any method that I can do to solve this issue On both W7 & W8 Please.
    many Thanks.

Under startup (right below) do you have start with home page marked?

I have 7 myself, so lets concentrate on that for now. Delete all your home page selection(s).
    Boot
Now start over, select a home page make it default. Check the correct box under startup. It should not be blanked out, now.
If that does not work, try going to the programs tab>manage add ons. Disable addons.
    You should be ok now.
Are you sure you have IE11?
    Not IE 10.

I think that if you try the same procedure for 8, it will work for you too. Good luck
