I'm on IE11 and the page works for me. What I do see when checking the HTML is a script being killed and a Cross-Origin Resource Sharing attempt tanking; Probably because of the script. Safety wise, this is a good thing. You might want to check to see if you have some flaky add-on or malware that doesn't like you running a secure browser. :)

Reverted to IE 10, problem still there. I am still investigating this. I have scanned for virus, problems etc. and have no malware or junk on my PC. It is not a problem with IE addins or ActiveX, problem is there when I run the browser with noi addins enabled. Cleared out all temp files etc, still there.

I see this as an Amazon problem, it only occurs when I look at Kindle products. In fact, I can open a tab for a specific printed book, it works fine. If I then use that same book to open another tab for the Kindle edition, that tab freezes. Sometimes, not always, if I wait long enough, the tab unfreezes and works OK.

Like I said, still checking stuff....

To make a long story short: the problem was fixed by clearing the settings of the Accessibility options in IE that were specifying IE to use custom page formats and a custom CSS sheet I had used for years. Once I let IE do its own thing with page styles etc, all has ever since been working fine.
