Opera 29.0.1795.47 new start page is terrible / can't get old one back

I used to be able to get the old one back by going to Opera:flags and setting experimental start page to disabled and then going to the web ? .

Actually i don't see the other option anymore , does anyone know how to get the old start page back on this new version?

    Thanks

Personally I quite like it & I really love the Speed dial folders.
What is it that is annoying you ?

It's the bar at the bottom of the page , hate it.

My pet hate is the search bar hopefully we will get some customization options in the future, despite the niggles I still like Opera's speed dial much more than any other browsers new tab page.

You used to be able to get rid of that dark bar but i have tried on this latest one to no avail.

I also use Opera because of the layout options of the speed dial folders , it just seems a hell of a lot less complicated.
