    Solved - Flash working badly

    Hello gents, and thank you for your time. This is kind of a hard thing to explain... First the symptoms:
    - Flash Player barely works;
    - (more than usual) Pixelated image;
    - Constant video freezing to catch up to the sound;
    - Sound "crackles";

    Now, the quirks:
    - Happens in both IE8 and Firefox 3.5, both updated with Flash Player 10.0.32
    - If (example in youtube), you scroll down so the video doesn't show, the sound works fine and no freezes nor crackles. Go back up, same old thing;
    - Just opening either IE or FF makes a couple of (rather high pitched) crackles flow from the speakers like water from a waterfall. Sometimes the sound just goes completely off.

    As for my equips, I have a Windows 7 32bit, and both graphic and sound drivers were installed today, latest versions.

    EDIT:
    Well, I don't exactly know how, but it's fixed. Thanks for those who tried to give a hand and sorry to anyone who had the same issue.

    Please update your system specs - the link is in my signature.

    Is this a clean install of 7, or did you do an in-place upgrade?

    What is your video card?
    What is your sound card?

    What version driver do you have for each?

    This information would be very helpful. I can help you find this information if need be. Could perhaps see if maybe there is a newer driver available for your hardware.

    Specs updated, thanks kegobeer. Yes it was a clean install.

    Clickster (now a bit redundant since it's one the specs but...) the graphics card is a NVIDIA 7300 GS with the 191.07 drive pack from nvidia.com while the sound card is a Creative X-Fi Platinum with the 2.18.0013.
