WL Mail can't clk (rt or lft) in contacts. Mail & Cal OK-Contacts not

In the left pane, I can click on mail, calendar, feeds, and newsgroups, but clicking on Contacts, does nothing, you can see the frame of the contacts page, but it never populates, you nee no contacts etc. Can't right click for menu, but can in all other tabs. Addresses do autofill in a new message, as normal.

    Any help is appreciated.

Hello and welcome JS mate I am assuming you mean the pane at the very bottom left and yes you should get an alpha betical list of contacts.
So first up run in safe mode these
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
    and
Disk Check < I personally prefer to run Optio 2 and use the /f /r switches

No worries mate alwasy good to check the simple stuff first eh?

If you use any other cleaning programs then dump them and use only CCleaner the majority and probably all senior members here use this https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download

Just remember when you run the cleaner and Analyse when done go to Options > Cookies and save the cookies with sites you have passwords for to the right hand panel by clicking on it (it will highlight) > send to the right hand list - reverse that for cookies you don't need anymore. Go back to the brush (Cleaner) and run it it will trash all old temp files. cookies not wanted etc etc

If you want you can scan the registry one but whatever comes up you can fix AFTER saving the results into Docs form there is there is any problems you can merge them back. A lot of folks don't do this because of whatever reason but I do.

Best of all CC is free

Now one last thing have a look at what I call the bible and see what you think as it can improve the machines performance a fair bit as long as you don't mind losing some of the "bling" like transparency.
Optimize Windows 7 happy puting :)
