Thunderbird email client is so nice thank you members

Thank you for helping me find a new email client. I was using 2012 WLM and being Microsoft is dropping it I looked for a new one. I tried a few and even paid for some and they all seemed to have glitch's.
I've been using Thunderbird now for a few months...But Thunderbird is so much better then the others and WLM especially. So glad I found this forum years ago. Thanks again to those who suggested and helped me set it up.

No probs mate I think I was involved in that thread and yes it is good eh?? What I do like about it is that it can be configured to look like the WLM GUI although it takes abit of fiddling around with to get the gist of it.

I don't think I care if it looks like wlm... Ha..... the only thing I would like to fix is how the junk mail folder works.. I mean it will have junk mail in it and not say a number next to it to show it has mail etc. When I click on the junk mail folder it will open and show mail inside.. so the only way to know if there is mail in the junk mail folder is to open it up.. any thoughts?

I've used Mozilla Thunderbird for some time now. Your question made me think: I don't remember ever seeing numbers next to my folders, including the default folders. There might be an add-on, extension, plugin available -- you might want to check Mozilla Thunderbird web site's section for such extras.

There is an option to show them ..they show next to my folders only when unread. They show on my main email names when in box and unread as they come in . But not at all in the junk mail.

...and you will check Mozilla Thunderbird's web site for a possible add-on? :) I'm asking because if you're successful, I can learn what to download too!
