Could you explain what the problem is a little more?

Windows 7 works fine with Firefox set as default.

Please be more specific. There is not much we can do with that level of information. How does Windows not start right?

If I set Firefox as my default browser when i restart Windows 7 all I get is vertical rolling. I have to turn off the computer. I restart in safe mode & reset IE to my default browser and everything is fine. I have tried this a number of times with the exact same result.

Try uninstalling Firefox and trying again. Firefox is not known to cause that problem.

Firefox works fine if I just use it, I just can't have it as my default.

did you download the image or purchase it?

Did you get it directly from MS?

Okay, uninstall it and download the program directly from Mozilla.
