Cannot restore IE 11 Menu Toolbar I accidently disabled/hid

I was checking the toolbars I had displayed/enabled in IE 11 using the View/Toolbars menu option, and I accidently unchecked/disabled/hid the Menu toolbar (File, Edit, View etc.). The browser is working fine, but I cannot figure out how to make that Menu toolbar visible again, since I no longer have that menu option to use.

Can anyone tell me what to do to get the menu toolbar back working? Short of doing a sys restore, hopefully....

    Thanks,

    Pete B

Press the Alt Key on your keyboard and then press V or click on View and change what you want.

Cannot restore IE 11 Menu Toolbar I accidently disabled/hid-ie-view-2.jpg

    Note:
I like as much space for web pages as I can get usually use the Alt key when I want to view that

    Good info and screenshots sml156.

Another way is to right click in these areas:

Cannot restore IE 11 Menu Toolbar I accidently disabled/hid-1.png

Cannot restore IE 11 Menu Toolbar I accidently disabled/hid-2.png

If you are using the Classic theme, then that top/wide red rectangle cannot be used to select bars. Use the area to the right of the tab.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. I could shoot myself, I actually knew both of these solutions, I just blanked out about them in a panic. Mostly because this happened during my trying to track down which add-in was causing a problem with IE 11 causing it to briefly freeze up and disable the menu (HP Smartprint as it turns out, thanks HP for not letting me know) ...

Mark it up to my Sometimer's acting up.... :=)

    Thanks all
