Looks like Jimbo has found a way to go the other way, maybe if you find a way to get Wndows Mail running, you could use his method to move. Importing mail from Outlook to Windows Live Mail
that was a while ago -- since I now am a technet member I prefer OUTLOOK. (Can down load Offfice 2007 and now 2010 for nothing).
You can get Office very heavily discounted which include OUTLOOK (you need PRO or ENTERPRISE - not the student and teacher editions).
When the public beta of Office 2010 is available load that and run Outlook - it's not a bad e-mail client and running unsupported Windows Mail on Windows 7 might give problems later on.
