small window

When I open lets say this forum, it opens as a small page. How do I get it to open as a full page?

Hello Dwhiskie,

If you mean in Internet Explorer, then you can press F11 to have it full screen. You can also drag the window borders to how large you want the window, or press the square button to the left of the red close window button at the top right corner, or double click on the window title bar to maximize the window.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

They should open the same size as the last window that was closed. Are you opening links in new tabs or new IE8 windows?

Try maximizing the current IE8 window (not F11), close it, then use the Yahoo shortcut to see if it opens IE8 maximized instead.

The x in the upper right is actually a short cut, try closing a max window with the exit in file on the upper left.

IE Only Opens In Small Window?
I've been told that IE 9 is a very good browser and even more malware-resistant than Firefox which is what I've been using. The first thing I'm seeing though, when trying Internet Explorer is that every site it opens it does so in a small (minimized) window which is VERY annoying and which Firefox...

Video Always Opens in Small Window, No Matter What
I had this posted over in the Media Center forum but I think that was a bit too narrowly focused for this problem. So, over here we go... I'm running Windows 7 x64 RTM and I have an Nvidia 8600GTS with the 190.38 drivers. Every video I open from the net or on my comp opens in a small window. If...

Video Always Opens in Small Window, No Matter What
I'm running Win7 x64 RTM and I have an Nvidia 8600GTS with the 190.38 drivers. Every video I open from the net or on my comp opens in a small window. If I enlarge it, the video becomes grainy and crappy and the next time it opens it's back to square one. I have installed both x32 and x64 bit...
