W7x64 Email client?

Given the limited options, what is the best,trouble free email client to use when having to transfer files from XP using Outlook and/or Outlook Express?

You'll get various answers, including my choice, Thunderbird.

However, getting your old email over to any new mail application can be a major pain. There are numerous threads in this forum about what you may have to go through. Enjoy.

Yea, I read thru all those.. Looking for the silver bullet. I guess the best approach is to start anew with Win live mail. I will need to use the same email address with new mail going to W7 laptop and old mail staying on XP desktop for ref. Sound right? Comments/Advice. Thank You
