I use multiple browsers. For trusted sites that aren't ad-heavy, Chrome. I like the search from the address bar and it seems to render pages faster. For untrusted sites or if I plan to DL lots of files I'll use FF with DownThemAll and ABP.
Like you, I was using a couple of browsers. I am now trying Lunascape and it gives me three browsers in one. So far, I like it.

Firefox for me....I know it, I'm comfortable with it, and if for some reason it failed me, IE8 is there, at least to let me connect and evaluate my options.
Edit....previous poster was right, there are other threads discussing this.

    Firefox

    Reasons:
    1). Add-ons
2). They did tabbed browsing before IE
    3). Habit

How would that be relevant to your choice?

I use Opera because they used tabbed browsing before Firefox.

This needs to be a multiple selection poll. I tend to use both Firefox and IE.

I primarily use them because I am used to them. For what I do, most browsers do whatever I need.

I originally started using IE because it is always there on Windows, and Firefox because it is cross platform and I used to like playing with the add-ins.

I use 3 different browsers. Firefox is till slow, but I use it to double-check what visitors to my website see if they have it, IE crashes, but at least it's faster and I use SeaMonkey only for editing my website. :)

Suffering with Opera 10.10 nowadays - until they fix their horribly buggy 10.x code (10.5x is even worse)

Using Opera 10.51 i did have big problems upgrading 10.1 to 10.5 , I eventually deleted 10.1 completely & did a fresh install of 10.5 which worked fine & have since updated to 10.51 some how Opera managed to speed up the Peacekeeper benchmark by another 29% over 10.5 . I wonder if there are more speed increases to come.
