Outlook 2007 Massive Performance Boost, Update Available for Download

An update is available for download, which will introduce nothing short of a massive performance boost for Outlook 2007. Mark Garcia - Unified Communications product specialist revealed that the February Cumulative Update for Outlook 2007 would bring to the table “a massive world of performance difference” after installation. Users will especially be able to feel the new levels of speed for Outlook 2007 when it comes down to common tasks such as launching the email client, searching for items and switching between folders, which Garcia describes as wicked fast.

Over-all, I'd say its "just a bit" snappier. The start-up is more smooth. If you don't move from folder to folder, you'll hardly notice it. I had to restart outlook 4x as it's showing an error on Outlook Connector, which gave you a troubleshooting advice, I think they're expecting this, but after that, it's smooth sailing. Oh, the shutdown is faster, "that" is noticeable.

    Cheers
