That's what i did for first instance, a shorcut, but i remember that in XP we had the option/button in properties to "Move..." 'my docs' folder... (the folder opened by default when you open Windows Explorer) to another location,...
The AIM for ALL of this question is to locate, by default, ALL my files I use DIRECTLY in another partition...
My experience is that is more secure to be saved files externaly to the SYSTEM partition... ;-)
