cannot install chrome ?

    cannot install chrome ?


    hello when i try to install chrome browser to my windows 7 64 bit dell laptop i get an error msg saying 4071c any ideas how to install please?
    i saw something which says it might be in audit mode?

    If its mentioning about Audit mode you might need to turn it of

    i did try google suggestion but there is no value to delete,it says not modified

    Now reference to that error code in google. Cold we have some more info.

    type eventvwr in search>goto windows log>application tab. look for errors (they have red in the left hand column) that have installer fail, or chrome in them. Let us know the event ID and source code.


    Let us know if you need help with any of that.

    all ok now,i saw somewhere that on regedit i had to delete a value but had no value in that field,so i did a delete there anyway and then managed to install Chrome,thank you everyone for your suggestions.
