Note: Your suggestion removed my custom start orb, icons and patched system files.
It will do that. It restores the original files.

    Tried SFC /scannow?
I believe this did the trick. Now I am able to use IE and also the favorites work.

MODS: You can close this thread.
Due to the system theme files being patched/modified, sfc will revert it to it's original state, hence removing the modifcations you implied.

Not a problem. Repped you too.

How to put a green check mark before the thread? Is it available to the thread starter or only the MODS can do it?

Just report your last post, and say solved, admins/mods will sort it out.

I'll leave you to do the honors, sir

Ok, so only mods can put a thread as solved. I thought I can close it as solved. Not an issue.

I think you can mark your own created thread within 5 minutes of it being made, after that only mods can, and you can just report it.

If you make a thread, you could mark it as solved yourself from the thread tools within the first 5 minutes. So say you figured the problem out within the 5 minutes of making the thread, you could mark it solved. After that time has passed, only moderators or above can marked threads as solved, so you will have to report the thread to be marked.

I dont think a person can find a solution within 5 minutes. I assume, everybody will do a google and when out of options will resort to start a thread. I believe, the thread starter should be able to close the thread as solved. Anyways, MODS can take this as a suggestion.
